 SRIPADASAGAR LIS PHASE I STAGE II, DIST. KARIMNAGAR, ANDHRA PRADESH

Govt. of Andhra Pradesh undertaken to develop 2 lakhs acres of Ayacut in the upland areas of Karimnagar District through I & CAD department. Surge Analysis study for raising main of this project ws carried out by Saisanket under guidance of Dr.Srinivasa Lingireddy. The results were verified and accepted by IIT-Chennai, I & CAD Dept., Andhra Pradesh. The anti - surge protection systems supplied and installed by us includes combination of maintenance free Bladder type Surge Vessels, Pressure Relief Valves and Surge Suppression Air Valves.
                                                                        
                                                          

 

 DEHANI LIS PROJECT, DIST. YAVATMAL, MAHARASHTRA - VIDC

One of the Largest piped irrigation and technologically advanced Project irrigating 6968 hectares of land belonging to 3324 low income farmers from 15 different villages in Maharashtra, India. Irrigation is proposed by drip irrigation method and controlled by SCADA system upto farm level. SAISANKET was instrumental in studying and designing of complete Distribution Network Analysis upto farm levle under guidance of Dr. Srinivasa  along with Supply & Installation of Bermad Pressure Flow Control Metering Device (PFCMD) designed to maintain the flow rate of 10 LPS for total 912 outlets.

 
 TERANA LIS PROJECT, DIST. OSMANABAD, MAHARASHTRA - GMIDC

 
Design, Selection and Supply of Bermad PFCMD with features of Anti Draining of pipeline in the event of power failure or burst set at
 1.5 bar and reducing the downstream pressure at 2.5 bar with flow rate of 10 LPS for this scheme.
 
 

 GODAVARI LIS II, ANDHRA PRADESH 
 

SAISANKET successfully supplied and installed Specially designed Level Control Valves through M/s. HCC and nagarjun Construction Co. featuring Modulating Horizontal Float for maintaining the Water Level precisely in the Oee Way Surge Tank by eliminating overflow, manual interference in maintaining level by sluice valve.
Some of the value added features are installation on ground level therefore easily accessible, eliminates surge generation with controlled opening and  closing, setting of valves at site as per surge analysis study.
 

 
 DINDIGUL WATER SUPPLY PROJECT, TAMILNADU - TWAD 
 

Electro-Mechanical contractor M/s. Kirloskar Brothers Ltd. and M/s. Keyem Engineering entrusted work of surge analysis to Prof. Sridharan, IISC Bangalore of 6 reach Pumping scheme. As per his recommendation, we successfully supplied and commissioned Surge protection system comprising of Bermad Surge Anticipating Valves, Bermad quick relief valves and ARI air release vlaves near to pumping station as a measure of cost saving in energy.

 

KBL - SARDAR SAROVAR NARMADA NIGAM LTD.
There are five pumping stations on the Saurashtra Branch Canal in the reach Ch. 68.485 km to 102.84 km. The pumping scheme comprising of pumping station 1 to 5 (PS1 to PS5) is a sequential flow transmission system, with large discharge, low head pumps delivering water to a open channel transmission system, through a bank of large diameter, short length conduits. There are no control or non-return valves in the conduit.

The layout of the discharge duct from each pump is such that there is a peak location along the alignment which is above the water level in the delivery canal. Such a layout is necessitated to avoid draining of the canals on power failure/ pump stoppage and at the same time avoid unnecessary increase in static lift.  We provide them with Bermad Air Release cum Siphon Breaker Valve (arsb) in three different sizes 400mm, 300mm & 250mm to be installed on the peak of each duct of CVP & VTP.
Bermad ARSB comprises of pneumatically positively acutated solenoid controlled Bermad Heavy Duty Industrial Vaalves with suitably designed air compressors system and pneumatic piping.

The Bermad ARSB will positively close bubble tight  and positively  immediately open on pump stop. Both the opening and closing speed of the valve can be controlled at field. Bermad ARSB provide solution for 26 Nos. of 4400mm dia and 22 Nos. of 2500mm dia pipeline.

 

IVRCL- PURANDER LIFT IRRIGATION SCHEME

This project was executed by M/s. IVRCL and  Saisanket conducted the surge analysis studies for this project with the guidance of Dr. Srinivasa Lingireddy.

This project is India’s first Project of 4 Stage Pumping Main based on the principal of On Line Booster Pumping Mains. The Surge Protection system is a hybrid type consisting of combination of One Way Surge Tank equipped with Bermad Level Control Valves, ARI Surge Suppression Air Release Valves, Bermad Surge Relief Valve, and St and Pipe.

 

HCC- TIRUPUR WSP

They were facing the problem of Pressure Drop and Less Flow in main Transmission due to Tapping Lines. Saisanket offered the solution with Demand Sensing Pressure Reducing Valves on various tapping points.

They were also facing water hammer problems due to unproper Sizing and Selection of suitable Air Release Valves. Saisanket carried out analysis and replaced all 200mm 90 nos. of defective Air Valves with ARI make High Flow and Surge Suppression Air Valve.

The analysis was done by Dr. Srinivasa Lingireddy.

 

WANGANA LIS

In this EPC project under guidance of Dr. Srinivasa Lingireddy, we proposed  the Piped Irrigation instead of Canal Irrigation due to many more advantages with cost effectiveness.

Saisanket also bagged the order for 185 Nos. of Bermad flow control metering device with additional feature of Anti Draining of pipeline in the event of power failure/ Burst for this project and many ARI make Air Release Valves.

 

MAHARASHTRA INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, JAMBHUL
 

MIDC was facing problems of vacuum and air traps on raw water rising mains having diameter of 1772mm which was affecting  the flow of water in the entire system. The intensity of the problem is evident from the picture of pipeline which  had got collapsed on account of the above problems. The solution provided was of installing ARI Non Slam Combination Air Release Valves, which were extremely useful for vacuum protection and air release.

 

RELIANCE- JAMNAGAR

Saisanket received the order for 92 nos. of  ARI make Vaccum Relief Valves suitable for Sea Water Application.

 

GANGTOK WATER SUPPLY SCHEME - SIKKIM, NORTH EAST INDIA 

Gangtok, the town is situated on steep hills and were facing problems of pressures in the pipeline which was fluctuating in nature.The water was coming from reservoir tank at1740m altitude which was 300 meter above lowest supply point.

The project was covered under the development co-operation program between Government of India and Government of Australia.

The solution resulting into reducing pressure to a constant pressure downstream regardless of the fluctuating demand or varying upstream pressure came in the face of Bermad Double Chamber Pressure Reducing control valves.

Supplied Bermad Double Chamber Pressure reducing valves specially and specifically recommended for the project by Reedicon Australia Pty Ltd.

 

VA TECH ESCHER WYSS FLOVEL LTD. 

For their requirement of High Pressure Air Valves  in Hydro project, Saisanket offered ARI make Air Valves suitable for Pressure of PN 64.

 

 
GOOGLE PUMPING STATION, GOA
 

Client was facing lot of maintenance problem in Electrically Operated Sluice Valves and Slamming Problem in NRV. Saisanket Proposed the Bermad Pump Control Valve instead of E.O.S.V. and NRV. After witnessing the successful performance of one Pump Control Valve, the client replaced all the E.O.S.V and NRV with Bermad Pump Control Valves.

 

OMAN WATER SUPPLY PROJECT- OMAN                                    

 

This project was executed by M/s. Gammon India Ltd. and Saisanket  conducted the surge analysis studies for this project with the guidance of Dr. Srinivasa Lingireddy.

For these projects the Surge Protection System is consisting of combination of Bladder Type Air Vessel, Bermad  Surge Anticipating Valve and ARI Surge Suppression Air Release Valves. Saisanket successfully  supplied and commissioned the job.
