Purandar LIS :

  • Purandar LIS is Asia’s second largest Online Booster Pumping scheme.
  • This project is a first 5 stages pumping main based on “Online Booster Pumping Mains” principal.
  • The total distance from the first stage to the final is approx 12.7 kms.
  • Total area covered under the scheme is 48,961 Hectors.
  • Each pump station having 4 no of 2.4 MW pumps.
  • Saisanket has carried out the complete design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of automation system for the synchronization of 5 statges pumping station.
  • The synchronization of all pump stations has been carried out by Radio as well as GPRS system.
  • The system is capable of monitoring and controlling from Central office of the department.


Wangana LIS:

  • The need of the project was to control the Flow Rate of 10 LPS at each outlet. The supply was from MDC by gravity to 185 outlets in 4200 Ha area and network was undulating.
  • Outlet Management System was recommended by Saisanket at every outlet which restricts the set Flow of 10 LPS through the outlet irrespective of change in Upstream/Downstream Pressure and Demand. Also the System has the feature of Anti Drain for the event of Power Failure/Pump Trip/Pipe Burst, to keep the Pipe Network always full and thus avoid the problem of removing the air from the pipe
  • Saisanket had done the Automation of Pumping Station and Outlet Management System for effective Distribution of Water in 1st Phase and now in 2nd Phase Saisanket is going to do the Integrated Remote Monitoring System for the whole network with wireless and energy less Communication.

Overview

  • Designed to irrigate 3004 Ha GCA.
  • Pump Capacity was designed considering the min. 2.5 Bar pressure available at critical outlets and 10 LPS flow Rate through each outlet.
  • Instead of 2 Separate Pumping Station at Right Bank Canal and Left Bank Canal, One Single Pumping Station was constructed to have better control from one place only and to reduce the operation and Maintenance Cost.
  • Vertical Pumps were installed due to less operating and running cost.
  • Pump Control Valves are installed on the pump delivery to avoid the Initial Surges due to Pump ON and OFF and to increase the life of Pipeline and Reduce the Maintenance and Shutdown of pipeline.
  • Distribution Network was designed considering the total Flow Capacity flowing through it and Pressure Required at Farm Head to enable the Farmers to connect the Drip Directly
  • At Every Chak Outlet Online Self Cleaning Filter was installed to get the Pressurized Filter Water at Farm Head.
  • Every Chak @ 35 Ha was divided into the 6 Sections of @ 5 Ha area each and every section will get the Flow of 10 LPS for 4 Hours.
  • Saisanket is involved in complete Operation, Measure, Control of Distribution Networks based on Wireless and External Energy less Communication.


Dehani LIS Project:

EFFECTIVE DISTRIBUTION OF WATER UPTO FARM HEAD - DEHANI LIS

  • Dehani is 1st integrated Lift Irrigation Project, which is planned from source to farmer estate to deliver pressurized filtered water ready for drip at every farmer’s estate
  • Total command area is of 6978 hectares and it is divided into 57 zones of approximately 100 to 150 hectares and each zone is further divided into 16 sub-sections.
  • After detailed designing Saisanket was able to optimize the cost of Distribution Network with the use of Air Management System, Outlet Management System, Electric Energy less and Wireless Automation etc and enable client to use these system for better efficiency
  • Project can operate as per the variable schedule depends on varying crop water requirement , rainfall, Maintenance, No Water Requirement.
  • Dr. Srinivasa Lingireddy designed the system which can to irrigate 21.07 Mm3 of water equally & effectively to deliver the Pressurized Filter Water at Farm Head.

Taranagar Project - Overview

  • Drinking Water supply to Urban as well as Rural Taranagar is Designed and Executed Under “AAPNI YOJNA” Scheme
  • The Water supply to Rural areas was executed in 2001. It is working successfully by providing drinking water to remote villages in Churu District.
  • The main purpose of this study is to check the feasibility of supplying the water equitably, right from Pumping station to Elevated Storage Reservoir (ESR) and then to Each Village Transfer Chamber (VTC), Public Stand Post (PSP), Cattle Water Tank (CWT).

Salient Features

  • The Scheme Supplies water to both Taranagar and the surrounding villages.
  • The Transmission part consists of Pumping main of different diameters. The Clear water reservoir (CWR) and Clear water pumping station (CWPS) is located at Taranagar.
  • The scheme is grouped in to many clusters of villages and each cluster has a separate pumping main supplying water to its ESR.
  • From ESR the water flows by gravity and supplies water to various VTC’s under the cluster

Feasibility Study

  • This study was conducted on Cluster 20A Karanpura.
  • 9 Villages are under this cluster.
  • The water is pumped from CWPS to a 250m^3 ESR through a 7.5 km length 150mm dia DI Pipeline.
  • The water flows through gravity from ESR to VTC and further in to villages through uPVC pipeline of diameters ranging from 160mm to 90mm.
  • The Design Population (2012) under this cluster is as follows:

    • Cattle Population: 2331
